dear monday by Perimeter O

Perimeter O is the recording name of visual artist/sound artist Pernille Meidell. Pernille has her background from the arts; sculpture,drawing,textile and installation.
On a daily basis she works as a nurse and runs Breton Cassette. As well as making music under the recording name Perimeter O, she is half of the duo Dachs with Erik Mowinckel.

Perimeter O works with composition through alternating use of electronic devices, acoustic instruments, voice, text writing, field recording and production. Among many things she fancy is slowness, contemplation, repetition, melancholy, mysticism, playfulness and everything hidden in the outskirts.

Perimeter O er innspillings navnet til billedkunstner og lydkunstner Pernille Meidell. Perimeter O (Pernille Meidell) har sin bakgrunn fra billedkunstutdannelse; skulptur, tegning, tekstil og installasjon. Til daglige jobber hun som sykepleier og driver Breton Cassette.I tillegg til å lage musikk under artistnavnet Perimeter O, er hun halvparten av duoen Dachs med Erik Mowinckel.

Perimeter O jobber med komponering gjennom vekselvis bruk av elektroniske enheter, akustiske instrumenter, stemmebruk, tekstskriving, feltopptak og produksjon. Blant mange ting hun liker finnes langsomhet, det kontemplative, repetisjon, melankoli, mystikk, lekenhet og alt som skjuler seg i utkanten
